Letters from James Dabney to his family concerning his experiences as an American soldier in the Spanish-American War, written from San Francisco, while en route to the Pacific, and from Hawaii, Guam and the Philippines. Also includes letters from Eliza Price and other family members to Price's daughter, Flora Dabney. Includes a letter to James Dabney describing the centennial celebration of the 4th of July.
